No, 925 silver/ Stainless Steel does not rust. What you will get on silver is tarnishing effect – this is where the silver goes black due to copper inside reacting with air humidity. Things such as bleach, chemicals, and hair sprays can speed up the tarnishing effect. When storing your silver, always put a small piece of chalk (like children’s drawing chalk)/charcoal in with your jewellery as it will soak up the humidity and keep your silver shiny!
